Wild Turkeys and Coyote, 5/27/17, Aqueduct Trail - Framingham

This morning, as I was walking along the aqueduct trail, I saw a coyote. When I started recording video, it noticed me and started moving towards me and then turned into the woods. As I continued walking, it barked at me from the woods. Eventually it stopped keeping pace with me but every time I turned around I saw it watching me and I would take more video of it. At one point, I noticed several turkeys watching us. The video pans from the coyote to the turkeys. They didn't seem too worried about the coyote, probably because turkeys can fly, as is shown in the video.

There are a couple of scenes in the video with the turkeys in the foreground where, if you look toward the top of the screen at the path in the background, you can also see the coyote. In one instance, the camera zooms past the turkeys to the coyote.

The audio is mostly silent but it comes on a few times to play the barks of the coyote.

If you think the coyote looks like a fox, have a look at Fox or Coyote? How to Tell Them Apart on the massaudubon.org web site.
